ADOPT A NEW MINDSET

The next step in making peace with where you are is to adopt a new mindset. This is a pivotal step, and over time, it can change everything!

It starts with adopting a new motto. This motto is: everything always works out for me.

For some people this motto is very foreign, and for others it comes more easily. Either way, allow yourself to stop and let the energy of these words soak into your being.

You may not have had a life where you feel that everything always worked out for you, but that can change now. The Universe is supporting you in getting better and better at focusing on what you love and bringing it forth into the world.

That includes your work, your family, your finances—every part of your life can change when you align yourself with the energy of ever-expanding, positive outcomes.

No matter what’s going on in your life at any given time, return to your motto: everything always works out for me.

That mindset paves the way for good things to come into your present situation, things that you won’t have access to if you’re focusing on what you fear.

Imagine standing on a path, facing either in one direction or another. Whichever direction you are facing is where you are heading. If you’re resisting where you are, feeling unsafe, and scrambling around (or numbing yourself), then you’re not faced in the direction of where you want to go.

But when you can get some hope in your heart, when you can relax, when you can allow yourself to tap into the love of your Guardians and the power coming to you from Source, then you can begin to believe—a little bit at first and then more and more—everything always works out for me. Then you are faced in the other direction, heading toward the life you most want to create.

When I experienced the financial losses I told you about in our Preface, it was a real test of this motto. Not only did I lose the house I’d owned for 26 years, but I then moved into my parents’ second living room, with a big curtain instead of a door.

The complete lack of privacy, the shame of my financial situation, and the job where I was supervised by teenagers—it was a perfect storm of humiliation, and the very definition of where I didn’t want to be in life.

And sometimes it did bring me to a very dark place emotionally. But my strong sense of soul purpose and my belief that “everything always works out for me” acted as a powerful compass, turning me time and time again to face in the direction of my dreams.

So adopt this new mindset for yourself today: everything always works out for me. We’ll be expanding on this thought in Chapter 26, but start now to incorporate this belief in everything you do.

No matter what is happening right now, it is not more powerful than you. You can create the life that’s right
